SIMPLE. EFFECTIVE. AFFORDABLE.
KILL SWITCH
Custom-hidden switches that disable critical vehicle systems. Only you know where they are and how to activate them. The most cost-effective anti-theft solution available.
WHY CHOOSE A KILL SWITCH?
A kill switch is a manually operated switch that interrupts critical vehicle systems. Hidden in a secret location only you know, it prevents your engine from starting until the switch is activated. We offer multiple cutoff options including fuel line, battery, fuse, and ignition interruption - all providing simple, reliable protection.
We offer five different types of kill switches, each with unique advantages. During consultation, we'll recommend the best option for your vehicle type, usage, and security needs.
KILL SWITCH OPTIONS
Battery
Cuts power to the entire electrical system.
Ignition
Interrupts the ignition signal circuit.
Fuel Line
Physically blocks fuel flow to the engine. Engine will crank but won't start, appearing to have mechanical problems to thieves.
Fuse Bypass
Interrupts power to critical fuses like fuel pump or ignition.
Fuel Pump
Disables the fuel pump relay or circuit. Engine cranks normally but receives no fuel. One of the most popular options.

Multiple switches on different circuits provide maximum protection. We can install 2-3 switches for high-value vehicles.
FAQ
How much does kill switch installation cost?
Kill switch installation starts from $220, dependant on the complexity and your vehicle type. There are no ongoing costs, subscriptions, or maintenance fees. This makes kill switches the most affordable vehicle security option available.
Where will you install the kill switch?
We install kill switches in hidden locations that are discreet and convenient for you to access but near impossible for thieves to find. During consultation, we'll discuss the best placement based on your preferences for security and ease of use. The switch is a physical on/off toggle.
What happens if I forget to activate the kill switch?
If you forget to activate the kill switch before parking, your vehicle simply has no extra protection beyond your standard locks. Most of our customers develop a habit within a few days of flipping the switch when they park, just like locking the doors. The switch doesn't affect your vehicle when it's already running, only when starting.
Can kill switches damage my vehicle?
No, when professionally installed, kill switches are completely safe and will not damage your vehicle. We use high-quality automotive-grade switches and wiring, and all connections are properly soldered and insulated. The installation is fully reversible if you ever need to remove it. We follow manufacturer wiring diagrams and best practices to ensure there's no impact on your vehicle's warranty or electrical systems.
What type of kill switch is best for my vehicle?
It depends on your vehicle type, how often you drive, and your preferences. Battery disconnect (remote-controlled) is most convenient for daily use. Fuel pump or ignition cutoffs are popular for hidden dashboard switches. Fuel line shutoff works great for stored vehicles. During consultation, we'll assess your vehicle and recommend the best option. We can also install multiple switches on different systems for maximum protection.
How effective are kill switches against theft?
Kill switches are extremely effective as part of a layered security approach. Most car thieves are looking for quick, easy targets and will abandon a vehicle that won't start within 30-60 seconds. A hidden kill switch creates confusion and delays them indefinitely. However, kill switches work best when combined with visible deterrents like alarms or steering locks. The visible security makes thieves choose another car, while the kill switch stops determined thieves who get past the first layer.
Can I have multiple kill switches installed?
Yes, absolutely. Multiple kill switches on different systems provide even better protection. For example, one switch could disable the battery while another disables the fuel pump. Or combine an ignition cutoff with a fuel line shutoff. This creates multiple hidden obstacles for thieves to overcome. Some customers prefer this for high-value vehicles. The cost increases with additional switches, but it's still very affordable compared to other security options. We can install up to 2-3 switches if you want maximum protection.
What if I sell my car or need to give it to a mechanic?
You have complete control. For mechanics or service, simply tell them where the switch is and how to activate it, or activate it yourself before dropping off the vehicle. When selling, you can either tell the new owner about the kill switch (adding value as a security feature) or we can remove it for a small fee. Some sellers prefer to remove it and install it in their new vehicle. The installation is non-permanent and fully reversible.
