FAQ
How much does GPS tracking cost?
Starts from $350 depending on which option you choose. We run special promotions throughout the year. Be sure to be subscribes to our newsletter, or follow us on socials to stay tuned for exclusive deals!
How accurate is the GPS tracking?
Our GPS trackers are accurate to within 5-10 meters in ideal conditions. The system uses GPS satellites, cellular towers, and WiFi positioning for maximum accuracy. In dense urban areas or underground car parks, accuracy may be reduced slightly, but as soon as the vehicle is in the open, precision returns. The tracking updates every 10-30 seconds when the vehicle is moving.
Can thieves detect or disable the GPS tracker?
We install GPS trackers in hidden, non-obvious locations that are extremely difficult to find without extensive knowledge of your specific vehicle. The devices have no external antennas or visible components. They also include backup batteries (if applicable) that keep them running for 24-48 hours even if disconnected from the vehicle's power, and they'll alert you immediately if tampered with. However, no security device is 100% foolproof, which is why we recommend layering GPS with other security measures.
What happens if my car is stolen?
The moment unauthorised movement is detected, you'll receive an instant alert on your phone. You can immediately view your vehicle's real-time location and movement. Contact the police immediately, and reach out to us for further support. Time is critical, and GPS tracking dramatically increases recovery success rates.
Does GPS tracking drain my car battery?
No. GPS trackers draw minimal power, typically less than a parking sensor or alarm system. Modern trackers are designed to enter sleep mode when the vehicle isn't moving, using negligible power. Even if you leave your vehicle parked for weeks, the tracker won't drain your battery. If you do have concerns about an older vehicle battery, we can discuss hardwired options with ignition-based activation.
Can I track my vehicle from my phone?
Yes, absolutely. All our GPS trackers come with user-friendly smartphone apps for iOS and Android. The app shows your vehicle's location on a map, movement history, speed, alerts, and geofence settings. You can also access the same information from any web browser on your computer. Multiple users can be authorised to view the same vehicle, perfect for families or businesses managing fleets. Don't worry, we will teach you how to use the app!
Will GPS tracking work in remote areas?
GPS trackers need cellular coverage to transmit location data to your phone. In areas with no mobile reception, the tracker will still record location data but won't be able to send it until cellular coverage returns. Once back in coverage, all stored location history is uploaded automatically. If you frequently travel to very remote areas, we can discuss satellite-based tracking options which work anywhere but have higher costs.
